An EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) is a worksite-based programme designed to assist:

  2. Employees identify and resolve personal concerns including but not limited to health, marital, family, financial, alcohol, drug, legal, emotional, stress or other personal issues that may affect job performance

Workplace psychological services like occupational stress management, fatique management for shift workers, workplace wellness and balanced work life management.

Counselling
Confidential face to face and telephone assessment, counseling, referral and follow-up for all types of personal problems that can interfere with job performance and overall well-being.

Counsellors are available on call 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.

Managing the Retrenchment Process Constructively

Burnout
Occupational Burnout Prevention and Care

Consultation
To assist supervisors with employees having job performance, conduct, and attendance problems.

Organizational Consultation
For conflict management, workplace violence, drug-free workplace, critical incidents and organizational change.

Supervisory Training
To teach supervisors how to identify and effectively refer employees with unacceptable attendance, conduct and job performance when customary supervisory methods are ineffective.

Drug-Free Workplace Program
Including policy development, training, employee assessment, treatment plan formulation, counseling, referral, and monitoring program.

Critical Incident Stress Debriefings
Conducted on-site following traumatic incidents.

Promotion of EAP Services
Via on-site orientations, talks, brochures, posters, etc.
